Most converters make you hunt through lists, tap tiny fields, and stare at a pair you do not care about. CurrencySpy is built like a calculator for money. Pick your currencies, type the amount, and every row moves with you. Change the base. Reorder the list. Copy the figure. Get on with your day.
Put Last Conversion on the Home Screen or Lock Screen and your last amount is waiting when you lock the phone. Put Exchange Rate next to it when you only want the unit rate for a pair you choose. They stay useful after the holiday app has been forgotten.
Rates are live mid-market figures, the same honest number whether you are checking lunch in Lisbon or a transfer at home. They are not a bank, card, or bureau quote, and we do not pretend otherwise. Weekend markets go quiet. The app will tell you, instead of dressing up a frozen rate as fresh news.

Information collected or stored:
No account is created. On your Apple devices (and in iCloud if sync is on): watchlist, conversion history, settings, tips, optional Currency AI memory, and rate watch definitions. When you use the app: IP address and short technical logs (time and path) on our UK servers. When you use Currency AI: a device identifier created on this device, plus your question and the rate context needed to answer it. When you set a Plus rate watch: an anonymous watch account id, the pair and target, a StoreKit proof that Plus is on, and a push token for this device, kept on a private Google Cloud bucket in London so we can send an Apple push when the cached rate hits your number. The app also sends anonymous daily totals about how it is used, such as which features people open. Those counts have no device id, Apple ID, amounts, or questions. We use them only to improve CurrencySpy, not to advertise to you. Other network details are used only to run the service and to detect spam, bots, and other abuse. CurrencySpy does not require an account. Watchlist, history, settings, tips, Currency AI memory, and rate watch definitions can sync with iCloud using your Apple ID. We do not keep a copy of that memory on our servers.
Rate requests go to our UK (London) servers and do not include the amounts you type.
Currency AI requests are sent to our servers and then to OpenAI in the United States to generate a reply. Do not enter information you do not want processed that way. We do not keep a chat log.
Anonymous daily totals about how the app is used, such as which features people open, stay so we can see trends. They are not used to advertise to you or to build a profile of you.
Rate-watch files stay until you delete the watches, turn off pings on every device, or we receive a deletion request.
A device identifier, IP address, and short technical logs may be used solely to stop spam, bots, or other abusive traffic. Typical users are not rate-limited or denied access.
Plus subscriptions and optional espresso or mug purchases are processed by Apple. We do not see your payment card details.

We reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to its users on this page and possibly within this application and/or - as far as technically and legally feasible - sending a notice to users via any contact information available to the owner. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the top of this privacy section.

Rates are mid-market figures for information only. They are not financial advice, a dealing rate, or a quote you can settle against. Always check the rate your bank, card issuer, ATM, or bureau will apply.
Currency AI answers are generated by OpenAI via our servers. They are information only, may be wrong, and must not be used as financial, investment, or legal advice or to decide when to buy or sell a currency.

That figure is information only. It is not a dealing quote or financial advice.
Watches do not fire while spot FX markets are typically closed, or if the published snapshot has not moved.
